Question: How do you reset the maintenance light on a HP M602?


Resetting the maintenance count and light on HP M601 M602 and M603 Laser Printers.

After installing a maintenance kit, you should reset the printer's "Maintenance Count".

How To Reset the Printer's Maintenance Count on the M601 M602 M603 series

1. At the control panel, press the Home button. 2. Use the down arrow button to select ‘ADMINISTRATION’ then press the OK button. 3. Use the down arrow button to select ‘MANAGE SUPPLIES’ then press the OK button. 4. Use the down arrow button to select ‘RESET SUPPLIES’ then press the OK button. 5. Use the down arrow button to select ‘NEW MAINTENANCE KIT’ then press the OK button. 6. Use the down arrow button to select ‘YES’ then press the OK button. 7. The display should show ‘SETTINGS WERE SAVED SUCCESSFULLY’. 8. Print a configuration page. Ensure the ‘Pages since last maintenance’ entry is set to zero.
