When replacing the fuser maintenance kit in many HP LaserJet models, the maintenance kit counter—which tracks the number of printed pages—must be reset.

Reset Procedure by Model Series

Manual Reset Required

For the following models, reset the counter from the printer’s Home (Ready) screen:

LaserJet Enterprise Series:

• M601, M602, M603, M604, M605, M606, M712

LaserJet Enterprise MFP Series:

• M630, M725, M4555

Steps to Reset:

1. Navigate to ADMINISTRATION

2. Select MANAGE SUPPLIES

3. Choose RESET SUPPLIES

4. Select NEW MAINTENANCE KIT

Automatic Reset Models

• M806, M830MFP → Reset occurs upon first power-on after replacement.

• M607, M608, M609, M610, M611, M612

• M631MFP, M632MFP, M633MFP, M634MFP, M635MFP, M636MFP

• E60055, E60065, E60075, E60155, E60165, E60175

• E62555MFP, E62565MFP, E62575MFP, E62655MFP, E62665MFP, E62675MFP

For these models, the reset occurs automatically after 100 pages are printed following replacement.

HP FutureSmart Monochrome models not listed do not have a maintenance kit counter.
