HP M601 M602 M603 59.00.90 or 59.00.A0 Error Code Failure Probability

  1. Registration assembly

  2. Paper feed assembly

  3. Pickup drive motor

Pull and check both the Registration assembly and Paper feed assembly. Spin the rollers and gears by hand to make sure they turn freely and are not stuck/locked up. If the problem remains, replace the pickup drive motor.

Its important to note that a failed registration assembly or paper feed assembly may have caused the pickup drive motor to burn out. In that case, replace the jammed/stuck part first. If the error code remains, then replace to motor as well, or you could replace the jammed part and the motor at the same time.
