Turn the printer off, unplug it, and allow it to sit for 30 minutes before performing maintenance. Remove Tray 1 Cassette, toner cartridge and developer unit before performing maintenance.
Disconnect any cables from the rear of the printer.

1. Open the front cover.
2. Locate the blue transfer roller tab inside the printer, towards the rear.
3. Remove the new transfer roller from packaging, but leave the paper wrapped around the transfer roller.
4. Pull up on the blue transfer roller tab until it is released from its clip.
5. Lift the transfer roller and slide it to the right to remove it from the printer.
6. Install new transfer roller (with paper still wrapped around it) by placing its left side post into the hole at the left side of the printer.
7. Push the blue tab down until the right side of the transfer roller snaps into place.
8. Pull the tab on the paper wrapped around the transfer roller and remove the paper.
CAUTION: Do not touch the surface of the transfer roller. Contact with skin can cause print quality problems.

1. Locate the blue button on the right side of the cassette, towards the front.
2. Push the blue button towards the left and lift and remove the tray separator from the front of the cassette.
3. Place the new separation roller assembly in place at the front of the cassette.
4. Push down on the right side of the tray separator until it snaps into place.

1. Stand the printer upon its rear panel so that you are looking into the tray cavity.
2. Locate the pickup roller assembly with the green clip towards the front of the printer.
3. Pull the green clip and slide the pickup roller assembly to the right and remove it from
the printer
4. Slide the new pickup roller onto the shaft. Pull the black plastic flag towards you and slide the pickup roller assembly to the left until it snaps into place.
5. Lower the printer back down to its normal operating position.
6. Repeat this procedure for any additionally installed trays.

1. Open the rear panel.
2. Turn the blue lock levers counterclockwise then remove the fusing assembly from the printer.
3. Slide the new fusing assembly into the printer and turn the blue lock levers clockwise.
4. Close the rear panel.

1. Unplug the printer.
2. Hold the ‘2’ and ‘6’ buttons down while plugging the printer in. Keep these buttons held down
for 10 seconds. This will open the Configuration Menu.
3. Select ‘CONFIG MENU’ and hit ‘OK’.
4. Select ‘SUPPLY USAGE AND COUNTERS’ and hit ‘OK’.
5. Select ‘CLEAR SUPPLY USAGE HISTORY’ and hit ‘OK’.
6. Hit the ‘BACK’ button twice.
7. Select ‘Exit Maintenance Menu’ and hit ‘OK’.
8. Select ‘Yes’ and hit ‘OK’.
9. Printer will reboot. The maintenance count has been reset.
