HP M806 M830 Printer Fuser Film Possible Cause:
One theory is that while the fixing film technology offers convenient instant on technology, it is being overworked to achieve the OEMs higher page per minute (PPM) printer speeds. The heating elements / fuser films / grease are being pushed beyond their engineered capabilities. The result is premature film tearing for both new genuine fusers and aftermarket fusers industry wide.
HP M806 M830 Printer Fuser Film Engineering Upgrade:
Metrofuser uses a proprietary grease coating in its fusers that reduces film tears. While it will not stop all film tears from happening, it will reduce the occurrences and extend the life of the fuser when compared to competing offerings.
The grease is hand placed and directed into hot points on the fixing film assembly of the fuser.
