How to adjust temperature settings on the HP M377 M452 M454 M477 M479 Laser Printer.
Please read this document prior to installing your new fuser and returning your core. To do this, follow these instructions:
HP LaserJet M377 M477 M479 Fuser
1. Install fuser, power up, and allow the printer to come to the home screen.
2. Swipe across the display and touch the ‘Setup’ icon.
3. Touch the ‘System Setup’ menu item.
4. Touch the ‘Paper Setup’ menu item.
5. Touch the ‘Default Paper Type’ menu item.
6. Drag down and touch/select ‘Rough’.
7. Touch the ‘Tray 1’ menu item.
8. Touch the ‘Paper Type’ menu item.
9. Drag down and touch/select ‘Rough’.
10. Hit the back arrow icon.
11. Touch the ‘Tray 2’ menu item.
12. Touch the ‘Paper Type’ menu item.
13. Drag down and touch/select ‘Rough’.
14. Hit the back arrow icon repeatedly to return to the home screen.
HP LaserJet M452 M454 Fuser
1. Install fuser, power up, and allow the printer to come to the home screen.
2. Hit the ‘’ to select ‘System Setup’ and hit ‘OK’.
3. Hit the ‘’ to select ‘Paper Setup’ and hit ‘OK’.
4. Hit the ‘’ to select ‘Default Paper Type’ and hit ‘OK’.
5. Hit the ‘’ to select ‘Rough’ and hit ‘OK’.
6. Hit the ‘’ to select ‘Tray 1’ and hit ‘OK’.
7. Hit the ‘’ to select ‘Paper Type’ and hit ‘OK’.
8. Hit the ‘’ to select ‘Rough’ and hit ‘OK’.
9. Hit the back arrow button.
10. Hit the ‘’ to select ‘Tray 2’ and hit ‘OK’.
11. At the ‘Paper Type’ menu item, hit ‘OK’
12. Hit the ‘’ to select ‘Rough’ and hit ‘OK’.
13. Hit the back arrow until ‘READY’ is displayed.

reuse/reinstall the paper guide mounted on your original fuser.
