HP Laser Printer Dirty Blank Pages 4200 4300 4250 4350 P4014 P4015 P4515 M601 M602 M603 Models

The Scenario: You get a laser printer service call and you find a HP M604 printer is printing mostly blank pages with randomly spaced dark areas along the left edge of the page. The image that you're trying to print is not visible at all.


The Cause: The toner cartridge ground spring on the left side of the printer toner cavity can get misaligned. The toner cartridge doesn't get a good ground connection, and also doesn't seat properly because the spring is in the way.


The Solution: Snap the ground spring back into its proper position.


You now have a few more tricks up your sleeve for your next HP laser printer service call! The toner cartridge ground spring in the incorrect position and the correct position.


This is a very common image defect found on HP mono-chome laser printers such as 4200 4300 4250 4350 P4014 P4015 P4515 M601 M602 M603 M604 M605 M606 and more...
