Turn the printer off, unplug it, and allow it to sit for 30 minutes before performing these maintenance procedures. Replace the fuser when the control panel displays the message REPLACE FUSER KIT.
Open the lower rear door (rear output bin).
Slide out the lower rear door tray extender.
Lift and pull the lower rear door while pressing, with a finger, the tab with ridges on the left side of the door. Remove the lower rear door.
Place thumbs on the blue ridges (near the warning label) and, using your fingers, pull up on the blue latches. Pull the fuser out of the printer. NOTE please do not dispose of the fuser. Return it to where you purchased it from.
Remove the new fuser from the bag.
Hold the fuser with thumbs on the blue ridges and fingers on the blue latches. Push both sides of the fuser into the printer.
Press the black ridges on the front of the fuser until the fuser clicks into place.
Rotate the green levers to the up position.
To reattach the lower rear door, hold the door at a 45 degree angle and fit the peg into the round hole on the right side.
Press the ridges on the tab on the left side of the door, and fit the peg into the round hole.
Close the lower rear door.
Replace the pickup roller A) Remove Tray 2 and place it on n flat surface, Note The printer should still be turned off
Use one finger to push on the blue side of the pickup roller until the peg comes out of the right hole.
Pull down gently on the pickup roller to remove the left peg of the pickup roller from the printer.
Remove the new pickup roller from the bag.
Hold the blue side of the pickup roller, and insert the left peg into round hole in the printer.
Push in on the pickup roller while lifting up on the right side of the pickup roller so the pin goes into the hole and clicks into place.
Rotate the blue side of the pickup roller until it clicks into place.
Replace Tray 2.
Turn the printer on.
Reset the fuser unit count. After a short time, the printer control panel might display the message NEW FUSER KIT.If the message NEW FUSER KIT appears go to Step A, If the message does not appear, go to step B.

On the printer control panel, press the up arrow to highlight YES, and then press the check mark select it.

On the printer control panel, press MENU to enter the menus. 2) Press the down arrow to highlight CONFIGURE DEVICE, and then press the check mark to select it.
Press the down arrow to highlight RESETS, and then press the check mark to select it. Press the down arrow to highlight RESET SUPPLIES, and then press the check mark to select it.
Press the down arrow to highlight NEW FUSER KIT, and then press the check mark to select it. 6) Press the down arrow to highlight YES, and then press the check mark to select it.
END: The fuser unit count is reset, and the printer is ready to use.
