Metrofuser
Packaging-Advances in fit, form and function.
April 26,

Printer parts
manufacturer
and distributor Metrofuser has implemented Instapak packaging system.
The company has introduced this system across its full line of printer
sub-assemblies.
Better Protection
Instapak
is a lightweight polyurethane material that offers superior
protection to products during shipping, warehousing and general handling.
Improved
Presentation With
Superior End-cap Design
Metrofuser will also be implementing
custom-shaped, engineered cushions molds. The molds are an advancement
in aesthetics and product presentation over foam in place methods. The end-cap design chosen is the ultimate in
protection of sensitive electronic interfaces and sensor flags. The
custom molded caps secure the fuser in a pincer fashion at its
strongest access points with the least amount of material contact. This
design is available immediately on the most popular fusers with
more releases over the next 12
months.
Engineered for Maintenance Kits
Taking it
a step further Metrofuser has
designed the end-caps to accommodate the maintenance kit transfer
roller. Kits can now ship in a single box lowering shipping costs and reducing
the parts warehousing footprint.
Single box, less waste,
more professional.
